DW is important direction but the agility of your tool demands you spend time creating ODS BI capabilities first to get info to tactical and strategic personel quicker and from there you have ODS BI layer which will end up being extended into a EDW with ODS BI capabilities. Gotta start somewhere and origin of source and few layers up is nice place to be right now….it offer high ROI go-to-market solutions in the ODS and BI worlds
